The photo book ”In the sculptor’s park – Millesgården” takes you for a walk through the park of the swedish sculptor Carl Milles (1875-1955), located on the island of Lidingö, outside Stockholm.

Walk around a terrace, some stairs or a fountain and you will meet statues, gardeners, tourists, flowers, bushes and trees which change constantly with the rhythm of the seasons. Employed as a gardener, I have been carrying during three years a medium format camera (Vredeborch Felicia) documenting the everyday life in the park.

The book contains a foreword by the Swedish writer Agneta Pleijel and a presentation by Laurent Denimal (texts in Swedish, French and English), and a picture register of the photographed sculptures. It is designed by Johannes Molin and edited by Carlsson Bokförlag in Stockholm.

The swedish art and literature magazine Balder (04-2008) has published some photographs from the book.

You can also read some critics in Swedish.
