A portrait of the Russian writer Vassili Golovanov published in the French daily newspaper Libération (May 4, 2021) to illustrate an article of Catherine Perrel (translator) a few weeks after his dead. The photograph was taken during the annual MEET literary festival in Saint-Nazaire in 2008.

The book A Country for Dying (Un pays pour mourir) is published in french at Éditions du Seuil (Paris, 2015), and in Swedish (Ett land att dö i) by Elisabeth Grate Förlag (Stockholm, 2016) in a translation by Håkan Lindquist and Davy Prieur.
